Our Restaurants

To accompany the tables for four in the restaurant, tables in our Garden Room can seat from five to eight people, and can be joined together to seat a maximum of twenty people on one table - the whole restaurant seats forty. Spacious yet intimate, the Garden Room is perfect for wedding receptions, shooting parties and other functions.


The famous Bluebell carvery is available all day Sundays and by arrangement any time for larger group bookings.

Themed Buffets

Available to group bookings of 25+ we can lay on an all you can eat themed buffet. Choose from Carvery, Italian, Oriental, Indian or during the summer months, a Summer Buffet which includes cold meats, fish dishes, homemade salads, new potatoes, garlic bread and a dessert.

  • Mushrooms Italian - mushrooms in a hot and herby tomato and garlic sauce
  • Tuna and Mozzarella Fish Cakes - served with a garnish and tartare sauce
  • Stilton Mushrooms - cooked in a rich and creamy stilton sauce

  • Prawn Cocktail - Bluebell version!
  • Prawn Twisters - herb and garlic marinated prawns hand rolled in filo pastry
  • Garlic Mushrooms - mushrooms in a garlic and cream sauce
  • Oriental Selection - filo pastry parcels filled with seafood and vegetables served with a chilli mayonnaise dip
  • Deep Fried Whitebait - served with salad garnish and tartare sauce
  • Crispy Batter Chicken Fillets - with sweet and sour dip and salad garnish

All our Main Courses are inclusive of a choice of potatoes and either salad from the salad bar or vegetables.

  • Bass Fillets - with red onions, peppers, black pepper and olive oil
  • Salmon and Prawns - salmon fillet with prawns and a creamy parsley sauce
  • Scampi - deep fried whole tail breaded scampi
  • Salmon and Dill - salmon fillet in creamy dill sauce
  • Sweet and Sour Tiger Prawns - served on rice with a bowl of self-serve salad
  • Steamed Plaice Fillet - served in a creamy mushroom, parsley and prawn sauce

Two Legs

  • Duck with Thai sweet chilli - sliced duck breast in a sweet chilli sauce served on a bed of rice
  • Sweet and Sour Chicken - crispy chicken fillets served on a bed of sweet and sour sauce rice
  • Pepper Chicken - chicken breast strips in a creamy black pepper and mushroom sauce
  • Chicken and Stilton - chicken breast strips in a very rich and creamy stilton and mushroom sauce
  • Cajun Chicken - herby, marinated chicken breast
  • Garlic Chicken - pan-fried chicken breast strips with onion, mushroom and garlic finished with cream
  • Chicken and Bacon - chicken breast strips with smoked bacon, mushroom and cream sauce
  • Chicken Italian - chicken strips, red peppers, onion, garlic and pasta in a tomato-based sauce, served with garlic bread

Four Legs

  • Rump Steak - 12oz
  • Sirloin Steak - 8oz
  • Mixed Grill - steak, gammon, lamb cutlet, pork chop, sausage, liver, tomato, mushrooms, onion rings, chips and peas
  • Marinated Lamb - chargrilled lamb leg steak in a sweet mint marinade served with or without mint gravy
  • Gammon Steak - chargrilled steak with either egg, pineapple or both!
  • Pork and Rum - medallions of pork, pan fried with mango, pineapple and rum
  • Bluebell Steak Stroganoff - strips of steak, onions, mushrooms, garlic, tomato, sherry and cream

Hot Stuff

  • Indian Platter - meat madras in a tomato-based sauce, served on a bed of rice with naan bread and mango chutney
  • Pork fillet JD - medallions of pork fillet cooked with cracked pepper flamed with Jack Daniels and finished with cream
  • Chilli Chicken - very hot chicken strips with onion, peppers in a spicy tomato and chilli sauce
  • Chicken Madras - strips of chicken cooked with onions, mushrooms in a hot, creamy curry sauce
  • Cajun Salmon - salmon fillet in a Cajun, pepper and cream sauce


  • Stilton Bake - seasoned vegetables pan fried with cream and stilton finished in the oven with a potato crust
  • Vegetable Indian Platter - vegetable curry (negotiable: hot or not) served with rice, naan bread and mango chutney
  • Bluebell Mushroom Stroganoff - mushrooms, onions, garlic, tomato, sherry and cream
  • Spicy chilli Fajitas - peppers, onions, mushrooms and seasonal vegetables rolled in Fajitas and topped with cheese
  • Vegetable and Brie Pancakes - pan fried seasonal vegetables with brie and cream, rolled in tortillas and oven finished with a cheese topping
